It is truly the Dog Days of Summer for Kansas City Royals fans. It is truly difficult to be a Royals fan this time of year.
Currently, the Royals sit 18.5 games behind AL Central leading Minnesota Twins and 19 games under .500.
Following Tuesday night’s game, the Kansas City Royals announced that Brain Bannister will be heading to the 15 day disabled list with right rotator cuff tendinitis, retroactive to August 8th. Bannister has a 5.95 ERA with a 7-11 record in 22 starts.
Everyone has their pet peeves about the Kansas City Royals broadcast… Which is most annoying to you?
As many of you may know by now, our Kansas City Royals took down the defending world champions yesterday afternoon to earn a 2-2 series split with the New York Yankees. The surprising result from the game wasn’t the win but was the way the game was won. As the 2010 season winds down, Royals fans, along with the entire Kansas City Royals organization begin looking toward next season.

Ok Royals fans, we can all breathe a big sigh of relief, Jose Guillen is gone! Congrats to Yuniesky Betancourt on the birth of his child. I also have bad news for Betancourt: Guillen is gone… that means, you sir, are public enemy #1 on the Kansas City Royals. As Royals fans were plagued with bad baseball year after year it’s the same old song and dance, “it’s a process!”
