Dog Days of Royals Suck

It is truly the Dog Days of Summer for Kansas City Royals fans. It is truly difficult to be a Royals fan this time of year.

Currently, the Royals sit 18.5 games behind AL Central leading Minnesota Twins and 19 games under .500.

Who is Bryan Bullington?

As many of you may know by now, our Kansas City Royals took down the defending world champions yesterday afternoon to earn a 2-2 series split with the New York Yankees. The surprising result from the game wasn’t the win but was the way the game was won. Without the excellent starting pitching of Bryan Bullington, and Joakim Soria‘s club record 25th consecutive save, the Royals would have gone down. At 29, this was Bullington’s first career major league victory in seven professional starts.

Screw You, Poser Yankees Fans across America!!!

A feeling I’ve always had was amplified as I listened to 610 Sports while running a few errands this afternoon, Mark Carmen (@thecarm) was dogging on Kansas City (and area) residents who dub themselves as “Yankees fans.”

Kansas City Royals 2011: PART 1

Ok Royals fans, we can all breathe a big sigh of relief, Jose Guillen is gone! Congrats to Yuniesky Betancourt on the birth of his child. I also have bad news for Betancourt: Guillen is gone… that means, you sir, are public enemy #1 on the Kansas City Royals. As Royals fans were plagued with bad baseball year after year it’s the same old song and dance, “it’s a process!”
